Impressions
Despite being a sequel to Truxton, this title evolved to a point where it felt like a completely different game, and its hardcore shooting action and high level of difficulty appealed to gamers. The melodic soundtrack, vibrant songs, and general sense of dread that accompanied the boss battles proved to be an intoxicating mix for players. The graphics for the weapons, enemies, backgrounds, and your ship were all given a heightened sense of realism and presence, and combined with the setting, immersed players in the game's world. This game definitely challenged players to go beyond the level of expert and become a King!
